Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Tablet Ring circa 1930.
A beautiful Art Deco sapphire & diamond tablet ring.
This wonderful ring has a central emerald cut diamond in a fine 4 claw setting within a border of baguette cut sapphires. The sapphires are beautifully matched and in a milgrain setting typical of the Art deco era. The ring has an outer geometric diamond set border with open sections making a stylish tablet design.
The ring has a fabulous handmade openwork underbezel and in common with rings of this type from the Art Deco era, is very low set to the hand. It would have been made originally as a cocktail ring to be worn on its own for an evening occasion.
The ring has plain shoulders with chenier detailing onto a plain platinum shank. It is a fabulous example of Art Deco craftsmanship.
Era: Art Deco, circa 1925 - 1940.
Measurements: Central diamond estimated 0.60 carats.
total diamond weight estimated 1.20 carats.

Ring Size: P (UK) 8 (US) 57 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with some restrictions due to the design.
