A superb hand made cabinet made by Geoffrey MacMillan. Master engineer and scientist who went to America as part of the British team working on the building of the atomic bomb in the 1942. Known as the 'Manhatten Project'.

Later Secretary and Director of the Furniture Research Association 

This Cabinet is believed to have been made for the British Empire Wembley Exhibition 1924.

In 1975 he exhibited at Worthing Museum and Art Gallery 'Made of Wood' Item No 15 - Record Cabinet. Two door cabinet, principal woods used are cherry wood, teak, walnut, having carved pear wood end panels and veneered doors.
