A very fine and stylish Art Deco silver tea service made in 1938 by Frank Cobb of Sheffield with matching later Italian silver tray (.800 purity) circa 1970 Milan.
The tea service is beautifully pannelled in excellent condition and has the benefit of handles that look just like ivory but are in fact bakelite.
The hinges of the tea service are wonderfully hidden (flush - jointed) indicative of great workmanship.
The tray is very elegant to match with no feet or handles so as to emphasise the sleek look of the tea set.
The tea set and tray are being offered together but could be split up and sold separately.
Tea set £2800 - Tray £1850
