Art Deco Emerald and Diamond 2 stone ring circa 1925.

A beautiful Art Deco emerald and diamond 2 stone ring.

This elegant ring has a bright emerald-cut emerald finely mounted in yellow gold with an old cut diamond in a classic bypass setting. The gemstones are finely 8-claw mounted in a coronet setting with the diamond in platinum and the emerald in gold.

The ring has 5 graduated old cut diamonds in a spitch setting to each shoulder within a rubover platinum border. There is wonderful scrollwork engraving to the sides and the ring is very low set to the hand typical of the era.

The ring has a gold reeded shank which tapers gently in design. It is numbered to the underside with an unknown makers mark which we believe might be Austrian (?) in origin.

This lovely ring is a wonderful example of Art Deco craftsmanship.

Era: Art Deco, circa 1925 - 1940.

Measurements: Emerald estimated 0.50 carats - assessed as Colombian in origin (not certificated).

Old cut diamond weight estimated 0.45 carats G colour VS clarity.

Total diamond weight estimated 0.75 carats.

Ring Size: M 1/2 (UK) 6 3/4 (US) 53 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with some restrictions due to the design.
