This impressive antique Victorian sterling silver teapot is of baluster form. The body of the teapot is embellished with chased scroll, floral and leaf decoration incorporating a scroll bordered shaped vacant cartouche to either side. This Victorian silver teapot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked lid which retains the original fine and impressive hallmarked cast sterling silver finial realistically modelled in the form of a strawberry. The lid is also embellished with the same floral and leaf decoration as on the body. The plain silver handle incorporates a shaped thumbpiece. Condition: This antique teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, excellent quality and in outstanding presentation condition. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. The chased decoration to this piece is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the underside and part hallmarks struck to the cover. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.Stock number
