A rare and unusual Antique Silver George II Salver made by Gabriel Sleath of London in 1735. The Salver has a mask punctuated border and stands on three stepped pad supports. The masks carved on the border are a most unusual feature on a salver and are reminiscent of the famous Grinling Gibbons carvings of the period.
