A massive scale Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of Venus "Aphrodite of the classical Greek legend) ".The figure stand 24 inches high and is of exceptional quality and rarity( previously unrecorded).Venus is depicted in robes arising from the foam of the sea and brightly decorated in strong enamel colours. The figure is in exceptional condition.
