An attractive and rare ten sided antique silver tea and coffee service made in 1912 in Sheffield by Fordham and Faulkner. To one side is engraved the crest of Sir Lewis Casson (Military Cross). The set is beautifully panelled and stands on a circular foot and is in good condition and very stylish. In some of the pictures we have shown it on a silver tray from 1928 which can be purchased separately. Sir Lewis Casson (1875 -1969 )was married to the famous actress Sybil Thorndike (see Wikipedia for resume of both their careers).
