A very rare early George III toast rack made in London in 1776 by Burrage Davenport.This is one of the earliest toastracks one is likely to encounter and it is in super condition.The five bar toast rack suitable for four slices of bread has a wirework frame which is anchored on to the oval bead frame by three rods underneath (These can be removed if needed to assist cleaning).The four feet are of a beautiful ball and claw form.This was made in the year of America’s independence from Britain.
