A superb late eighteenth century three bottle Antique Silver George III Inkstand made in London in 1791 by Robert Hennell. The Georgian inkstand is of a stylish octagonal shape with a fine reeded border and stands on four complementing reeded feet. The bottle receivers, bottles and bottle tops are all octagonal in shape. All the component parts (bottle tops, receivers and main body) are original and hallmarked. In the well of the inkstand the original owners crest of a plume of ostrich feathers is engraved. A lovely inkstand In excellent condition by one of the most famous makers of the period.
