A charming George V Sterling Silver mounted Claret Jug. The base of the glass body is fluted and surmounted by a central ribbed band. The etching on the upper body of the claret jug , depicts foliation. The jug is fitted with an exceptional C scroll handle with a leaf design and a domed hinged lid. Height to top of thumb piece 10 inches, 25.40cm.Wonderful glass probably from the Webb glassworks in Stourbridge.
