A fine and rare George III Chippendale period bureau on its original stand: superb inlaid interior with a finely carved frieze, mahogany-lined drawers and 2 secret drawers; the 2 main drawers with the original gilt Rococco handles; the stand with blind fret frieze, open fret brackets, the legs with stop-fluted carved detail and a handsome pierced x-stretcher.
