Excellent antique tribal rug from the Karaja region in the north-west of Persia near the town of Heriz.  These beautiful antique Karaja rugs have so many interesting motifs, from the eight-pointed star designs in rust red and scattered geometric stars.

We offer the service of viewing any of our carpets & rugs in-situ in London, Surrey, Hampshire & the UK by appointment. Purchase this rug online and we shall ship it securely to your home too.

Heriz carpets and rugs are famous for their durability and are one of the toughest antique rugs due to the good quality wool that was used. They are still extremely popular today, whether in an 18th Century home with exposed beams or a modern home with contemporary furniture. Their warm colours and interesting designs make them an excellent compliment to any interior.
