A spacious and open antique Heriz rug from the north-west of Persia, made over 100 years ago with a madder red border and a lovely indigo field. A beautiful small heriz rug in good condition. Antique Heriz carpets and rugs are famous for their durability and are one of the toughest antique rugs due to the good quality wool that was used, they are know as the iron rugs of Persia.
