Antique Gold Dress Studs with Diamond Centre circa 1880.
A pair of antique gold dress or collar studs in fine condition and of super quality. In 14 karat yellow gold of soft colour, hammered design and lozenge in shape. Each stud with old cut diamond centre. The maker is Julius Schade from the town of Freiberg in the Saxony region of Germany. The studs are signed, have German hallmarks and are fitted in their original box. The hammered design was particularly popular with Austrian and German made jewellery of this period.
