Large - Rare and Decorative French Wood Panel , Finely Painted and Decorated in a Flora and Fauna Subject - Unusual Details of Rare Birds in Brilliant Colours Suggesting a South American Jungle Scene.
This early nineteenth century form of decoration was generally used to decorate smaller size objects such as handkerchief boxes - miniature chests - pocket items .
