An antique enamel and pearl pansy brooch, the round pearl measuring approximately 3mm set to the centre of five realistically carved and enamelled petals with a yellow gold back with brooch fittings, circa 1900, made by A.J Hedges & Co in the USA, overall dimension 3.2×3.1cm, gross weight 9.9 grams. Antique brooch in very good condition, with indication of enamel restoration. Marked 14K, tested as 14ct gold.
A gorgeous, antique enamel and pearl pansy brooch. Deep plum and white enamelled petals are complemented by hints of yellow and orange, providing a vibrant backdrop for the precious pearl lying at the centre of the flower.
