Large Chinese Silver Box or Jewel Casket decorated with chrysanthemums to lid and side panels, sitting on 4 ball feet. The hinged box has a lock which suggests it was designed to hold valuables, and also a vacant cartouche on the lid. Made by Hung Chong, the casket weighs 1381gms.
