A pair of unusual antique earrings from the Victorian period in the shape of a pansy flower.

The petals are formed by five carved amethysts with five old cut diamonds to the centre of the piece.

The realistically shaped flowers are suspended on a pair of gold chains with a single amethyst above on the post fitting.
