Fabulous French animaliers bronze study of a bull leaning over a rustic fence and gently nuzzling a welcoming cow. The bronze surface with wonderful rich brown lightly rubbed surface and excellent hand chased detail, signed I Bonheur and stamped with the Peyrol foundry mark.
This is a very rare subject by this important and talented sculptor and portrays a wonderful story of the intimacy between a powerful bull and the affectionate cow.
