Anatolian Runner of Arts & Crafts design.

Anatolia has a rich history in rug weaving. The earliest surviving examples of Anatolian carpets known today date from the 13th century. In Europe, many Anatolian rugs were frequently depicted in Renaissance paintings.

This long Anatolian runner has Arts & Crafts design elements. The red field has abrash (colour variation) which adds depth and richness to the ton sur ton drawing, framed by a plain caramel end border.
