An American Whaler's walking cane, a plain and reasonably straight, tapering shaft turned from a jaw bone, the handle carved from a sperm whale's tooth into the form of a typical clenched fist but with the artful device of replacing what should be the snake's head with the head of the American Bald Eagle; this united to the shaft by a plain collar of silver stamped 'Sterling'.

American circa 1880.
