An Amazingly Rare and Beautiful Romanesque Sculpture of a Seated St Peter. Circa 1150-1200.
This astonishing Romanesque sculpture retains nearly all of its original polychrome decoration. St Peter’s facial expression is so serene, seated and pointing his right finger heavenward.
A truly rare Romanesque survivor of museum quality.
