A.H. Rodanet, Paris, no.2599.  A Late 19th century French Repeating Carriage Alarm Clock with Three Limoges Enamel Panels.

The ribbed handle over a stepped upper section with bevelled glass inspection panel and four reeded columns on outset corners, the time dial with white enamel Roman numerals within a gilt minute ring and divided by gilt half hour markers over a conforming Arabic alarm setting dial. 

The left hand side set with a male courtier in fine colourful robes with gilt highlights, his female companion set to the left hand panel, complete with gilt bag and peacock fan.

The twin barrel movement with bimetallic balance striking, repeating and sounding the alarm on a coiled steel gong.
