Lady's silk Ikat coat (Munisak), probably from the Ferghana Valley, Uzbekistan, made in the late 19th century. With its restricted colour scheme, it has a high-impact, graphic design.
The Ikat is very crisp in the handle and in excellent condition. The Russian printed cotton lining has one stain but is otherwise, like the robe, in great condition.
