Impressive and well-made large [H: 42in 107cm] oak-cased Aneroid Barometer / Thermometer in original condition.
The break-arch pediment, centred by urn finial, over engraved silvered brass Fahrenheit and Centigrade thermometer behind bevelled glass cover and flanked by twin Corinthian columns.
The 10in. [25cm] dial, set into panel with egg-and-dart frieze and well-carved floral corner motifs, engine-turned centre, and red lettering highlights, all behind bevelled glass.
