A very rare late 19th century Oak Elliptical Wine Bottle Carrier with original brass bound decoration and handle.
We have never quite come across the like of this but it is a really charming item with great collectable interest.
Made in the same way as far more commonly found brass bound wine coolers or buckets it is really rather charming and perfect to stand in the middle of the table, or on a sideboard with a couple of bottles in it.
