A delightful mid 19th century Italian Goncalo Alves Occasional Lamp, or Wine Table, having very attractive circular top.

With superb quality and unusual inlaid decoration, raised on faceted central column terminating on elegant umbrella tripod legs.

This incredibly unusual table is elegant, beautiful to look at and very practical.

It is constructed from very attractive and well figured Goncalo Alves and the two different types of inlaid decoration are very unusual indeed.

We are not 100% certain of its origin, but certainly it is European and based on other similar items we have come across previously. we believe the most likely origin is Italy.

Circa 1850.

Height - 29in.
