An attractive mid 19th century French cherry wood Farmhouse Dining Table, having well figured plank top over one frieze drawer raised on elegant square tapered legs.

The epitome of simple elegance and versatility, this 19th century French farmhouse dining table is of typical design but boasts an excellent mellow, warm colour due to the fact it is made of cherry wood rather than one of the more typical darker woods.

It has been well used throughout the years and there is evidence of this, but it has also been well loved and cared for and is in good condition. It seats 8 people relatively comfortably and the
drawer is a good useful size.

A major advantage of this type of table is that you can place warm or damp items on the surface with a relatively low risk of causing any significant damage.

Circa 1860.
