1920s Anatolian Carpet.

Anatolian carpets have a rich history of rug weaving which began in the 13th Century and were amongst the first wave of oriental carpets exported to Europe.  Today these decorative carpets are highly appreciated for their soft colours and lustrous wool.

An interesting Anatolian carpet of the beginning of the early 20th Century with an unusual drawing and unusual array of natural, undyed colours of ivory caramel and muted brown.

A stylish rug with earthy colours to compliment contemporary or classic spaces.
