A fine matched pair of marquetry harewood demi-lune side tables attributed to William Moore of Dublin.
Moore worked for many years for the London cabinetmakers Ince and Mayhew before setting up his own company in Dublin, Ireland, circa 1782.
His marquetry inlay is of superior quality with each top having radiating patarae within a broad satinwood border enclosing alternating flowerheads. Cross banded in tulipwood, boxwood and ebony as decoration.
The frieze with simulated fluting; raised on square tapering legs inlaid with bellflower pendants and headed by oval Irish yew wood panels.
