A charming pair of 18th century English fruitwood Side Chairs, having delightful lattice pattern pierced fretwork backs over shaped drop-in seats, raised on elegant square tapering legs with moulded decoration and H stretcher.

The backs of these chairs is a beautifully intricate design that we have not come across before and the craftsmanship which has gone into the making of them is quite exceptional.

They are most unusual being constructed in fruitwood and have a real country house charm feel to them.

Overall their condition is excellent and they are ready to use immediately in such a plethora of different places around the home, including the dining table, the kitchen table, the bedroom or the hallway.

Finally although the fabric on the seats is relatively recently replaced should you wish to change it to match an existing scheme then this can be easily relatively inexpensively carried out due to the seats detaching from the chairs.

Circa 1760.

Width - 20in.
Depth - 19.5in.
