A striking North European coat of arms painted on convex metal dating to the second half of the 18th century. Most probably from Holland or Scandinavia. The reverse bearing the faint inscription: 'Reverendisimi V.V. de Vaukescuthe Archidiaconi'. The crest is boldly surmounted with a knights helmet with mantling. The filed is divided in four divisions, two showing an urn and two a mounted rider. The entire shield is on a white background.
