18th century Montgomeryshire oak dresser base.
A mid 18th century oak dresser base of narrow proportions and typical Montgomeryshire form with a wonderfully patinated one piece top with well a worn moulded edge.
Below the top it has three cockbeaded edge drawers above three elegantly shaped arches which are also cockbeaded, four baluster turned front legs and a potboard with its original boards.
The base is entirely constructed of typical North Wales oak of the period which is very heavy and dense. Superb colour and patination throughout.
71 inches long x 17 1/4 inches deep x 31 inches high.
