A lovely 18th century Mahogany Serpentine Chest of desirable small proportions. George III, circa 1780.

Of excellent colour and patination, and lovely figured veneers, and with ebony and box line stringing throughout.

The cross banded and moulded edge serpentine top over a serpentine front with four graduated cross banded drawers; and over a moulded serpentine base, raised on shaped bracket feet.Cast gilded handles with pierced floral backplates.
