A LOVELY 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST OF DESIRABLE SMALL PROPORTIONS. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1780.
Of excellent colour and patination, and lovely figured veneers, and with ebony & box line stringing throughout.The cross banded & moulded edge serpentine top over a serpentine front with four graduated cross banded drawers; and over a moulded serpentine base, raised on shaped bracket feet.Cast gilded handles with pierced floral backplates.
