A Charming George II Period Mahogany Card Table Having Well Figured Shaped Folder Top Enclosing Baized Interior Playing Surface Including Money Wells And Candle Stands, Over One Drawer To Frieze With Original Brass Handle Raised On Elegant Turned Cabriole Legs Headed By Elegant Carved Decoration Terminating On Pad Feet.

This is a particularly attractive example of its type, constructed from good quality, rich mahogany timber. The interior baize has been recently replaced and therefore most attractive. The addition of money wells and candle stands is also a lovely feature.

This card table from the mid 18th century would make a particularly nice games table in a games room, but also would work well just used as side, or console, type table.
