A good 18th century Chippendale period Mahogany Gainsborough Chair. George III, circa 1770.

The camel or serpentine shaped back flanked by padded arms with nicely shaped moulded mahogany supports.

The seat raised on square moulded chamfered supports with carved scrolls and united by stretchers and terminating in brass castors.

New upholstery and brass studwork.
