Chinese Export Porcelain Lotus Leaf Shaped Pair of Dishes.

Circa 1765.

The large Chinese Export famille rose porcelain saucer dishes are made in the form of a lotus leaf with the rim and border in the form of nine different lotus leaf petals in shades of pink and red and with green at the base.

In the design is a single flower with white petals formed in Bianco sopra Bianco. The exteriors of the dish’s lotus leaf borders are similarly painted. The centers with a circular roundel with a band of spearheads at the edge.  

The centers with a depiction of a Chinese garden with green rockwork and flowering plants with a gold and red zig-zag fence.

The condition is good with a very slight stacking rubs on the spearhead border-see photo.
