The material used in this 18th century chasuble panel is a delicate silk brocade.
It depicts a rich pattern of exotic flowers, fruits and plants growing out of blue-and-white jardinieres, all in a pale, elegant colour scheme.
The brocade is in excellent condition. It is backed on silk lining.
