17th century panelled oak coffer, the top with two boards and moulded edge opens on its original wire hinges to an interior with till box, the raising lid of which supports the coffer lid when open.
The front rail with original iron lock is flanked by a carved frieze with scroll and C scroll detail. The stiles and muntins that flank the three panels are chip carved.
The panels are rectangular raised with moulded edges. To the ends a pair of flat panels with arched carved top rails. All of good colour, patination and condition and supplied with a key.
