The top is beautifully quarter veneered in burr elm, featherbanded and crossbanded in walnut and burr elm. The desk is comprised of one long drawer above a central cupboard door set within the kneehole, which is flanked by banks of three graduated drawers. The whole raised on ogee bracket feet.
