"The joy is in the discovery"
11 - 17th October
Sometimes it’s just the excitement of finding a beautiful work of art, the discovery of informative research or the unearthing of a stylistic design, never seen before.
Our selection of works for this BADA week exhibition encompasses finds that have delighted us for one of these reasons.
From Japanese Meiji period works of art, to fine European porcelain, there really is something for everyone, whether you are an avid collector or looking for a beautiful aesthetic for your home.
A Japanese cloisonné mizusashi (water jar) signed by Honda Yosaburo (active circa 1870’s-1910) This truly unusual design has the hallmarks of the emerging French Art Deco movement and is stylistically crafted in the form of a watermelon. 35cm tall.
Discover our collection for yourself by visiting us in Kensington Church Street. All objects are available for sale throughout BADA week.
Even after our 57 years, the joy is definitely still in the discovery.
