Shapero Rare Books is an internationally renowned dealer in antiquarian & rare books and works on paper. Our specialists have over 250 years of experience in between them, with particular expertise in fine illustrated books from the 15th to the 20th century, travel & voyages, natural history, modern firsts, rare children’s books, guidebooks, Hebraica & Judaica, works of Russian interest, and Islamica. 
 
Shapero Modern, set up in 2014, focuses on modern & contemporary prints, multiples and works of art, curating several shows annually on topical themes at their Maddox Street gallery. We also specialise in historical prints, watercolours and original works of art across a broad range of subjects, from antique architectural and natural history prints to modern pochoir plates, as well as photographs from vintage to modern art.

Our Bookshop and Gallery can be found in the heart of Mayfair at 106 New Bond Street, where most of our stock is available to view and on public display. Shapero Modern can be found close by at 41-43 Maddox Street. We also exhibit at major international art fairs, including TEFAF (Maastricht and New York), Frieze Masters, Art Miami and Masterpiece London, as well as antiquarian & rare books fairs including New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Hong Kong.
