About

Robert Bradley Antiques

Robert Bradley has been a dealer in english antique furniture and related items since 1969.

For 40 years Robert had a shop in Salisbury, but now deals by appointment from large showrooms a few miles from the city.

He has seen many changes in the world of antiques, changes in fashion, changes in the structure of the trade, and changes in prices.

Stock

For years Robert sold almost exclusively to the trade, but with changing times now finds that decorators and private individuals make up a large percentage of his customers.

Despite a shifting world, Robert's criteria for buying stock that is offered for sale has never changed.

He looks for good design, originality, good colour and patination. In his own words, Robert says: 'I like the things I buy to be good examples of their type, a cut above the rest. I think that we can all get tired of the ordinary.'

Guarantee

Based on his knowledge and experience built up over the years, Robert guarantees that everything he sell is as he described it.

Robert explains: "I love the things that I deal in, and authenticity is all important to me. It is all part of the romance. I work hard and am always buying new stock, and as a result, my website regularly gets updated."

His store sits in a very beautiful part of the country and his stock can be viewed at any time by appointment. Travellers by train can be met at Salisbury station, a mere 10 minute drive away.
