About
Isherwood Fine Art
Isherwood Fine Art specialises in Old Master, British and European paintings and sculpture from the 16th to 19th century.
We have a particular focus on period portraiture from the 17th and 18th century and sporting and wildlife paintings from the 17th to 19th century.
We also offer a selection of bronze figures from the 19th and early 20th century, primarily from the French animalier school of sculptors.
Nicola Isherwood
Nicola Isherwood founded the business in 2003 and over the last 20 years has built an international following, selectively sourcing works of art for their quality, visual appeal and interest of the artist and sitter or subject.
Research is undertaken on every piece and condition is carefully assessed, working with leading British experts in painting and frame conservation and restoration.
Nicola has rediscovered works by artists such as Mary Beale, Peter Lely, John Hayls, Godfrey Kneller, Michael Dahl, John Vanderbank, Thomas Hudson, George Romney and Nicolaes Maes, amongst others.
