Tickets for The University of Leeds’ Antique Dealer Project Conference, in association with BADA are selling fast with limited places available for the two-day event on April 14-15.

The conference, entitled ‘The British Antiques Trade in the 20th Century – A Cultural Geography’ takes place in the delightful setting of Temple Newsam House, Leeds, a Tudor-Jacobean country house set within 1,500 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown.

The culmination of a 32-month Arts and Humanities Research Council funded project led by Director Dr Mark Westgarth at the Centre for the Study of the Art & Antiques Market, highlights of the event will include Academic papers from the project team, talks by well-known figures from the world of antiques and guided behind the scenes tours of Temple Newsam House.

Conference fees also include lunch on both days and an evening wine reception with music accompaniment from the historical musical instruments at Temple Newsam House.
