Winter Olympia Art & Antiques Fair

Association with BADA
Once again the Winter Olympia Art & Antiques Fair is being run in association with the BADA and LAPADA. This involvement, together with its daily vetting process, ensures that buyers have a high level of quality assurance.

Highlight of the Winter Season
The 24th Winter Olympia Art & Antiques Fair (3-9 November 2014) is a highlight of the Winter season and is much anticipated as the only high calibre art and antiques fair between October and March. As in 2013 the fair coincides with Asian Art in London and also major auctions during this period, thus attracting buyers to London during this time.

Fair Partners
This year there are an increased number of Fair partners including Tatler (on board for the first time at Winter), World of Interiors, Design Centre Chelsea Harbour and Mosimanns. The Fair charities are the Royal Marsden Cancer Charities and the David Adams Leukaemia Appeal Fund who are inviting their corporate and key supporters.

Enticing Events Programme
For 2014 there is an enhanced Events Programme designed to attract both regular and new buyers to the fair with two Asian focused lectures; one by Dr Yu-ping Luk, of the British Museum on Ming: ‘50 years that changed China’ and the other by Asian expert Arthur Miller. Other talks include ‘A Victorian Obsession’, about the forthcoming exhibition at Leighton House which will showcase the largest private collection of Victorian art outside the UK and the annual BADA talk is ‘Over the Top? The Image of War’ by Andrew Sim of Sim Fine Art.

Wide choice
Explore the inspiring treasure trove on offer, ranging from Old Masters to modern British paintings, stunning Art Deco jewellery to scientific objects, 17th-century Italian textiles to royal memorabilia or ancient Chinese ceramics alongside 20th-century design. With such an extensive array of decorative pieces to choose from, adding individuality to your interiors is effortless.
Whether you are a collector or an art enthusiast, a dealer or an exhibitor, the Winter Olympia Art & Antiques Fair will provide you highly professional service and a memorable and enjoyable event. Visit the Fair website for further information.

Wonderful atmosphere
The Olympia exhibition hall was built in the golden era of industrialisation in 1892 and its dome-like halls impress the visitor with their wide space and airy, grand atmosphere. Combined with stylish, elegant and beautiful features, the fair creates a unique visitor experience.

Free admission if you join the BADA Friends
Regular fair visitors may find it helpful to join the Friends of the BADA Trust, membership of which grants free access to this and other top fairs, (including the BADA Fair).

BADA stand at Olympia
Do not forget to visit the BADA’s stand at the fair, where complimentary literature about the association is available and staff will be happy to answer any of your questions. You can also join the Friends from the stand.
