Description / Expertise

Of broad rectangular form with rounded ends. The cover and base engraved with engine turning and the sides with reeded bands. This piece has an unusual floral thumbpiece and a very pretty marked grille, pierced and engraved with flower heads and foliate motifs. Made in London in 1831 by Thomas Jenkinson.
