Regency period rosewood book carrier, the column-turned double sided gallery with scrolled ends and raised carrying handles, the plinth with a Cedar lined drawer.In the manner of Gillows.

Literature

Gillows designed very similar book carriers in 1823 and 1825, they are illustrated in their Estimate sketchbook pp 3236 & 3408 at Westminster City archives.
