Description / Expertise
A fine and rare pair of Roman 18th century carved giltwood console tables with the original marble tops . The scrolling legs are decorated with busts of beautiful young women and in the centre of the frieze is the face of a young cherub. A pair of sofas almost certainly from the same workshop are in the National galleries of Scotland.
